Description: This error occurs when opening .PDF files in Adobe Acrobat through Outlook.
Solution: This error can be mitigated by running Adobe Acrobat in Windows 8 Compatibility Mode.
Solution Guide:
- Right-click on the Adobe Acrobat desktop/other shortcut and click “Properties”
- Click on the Compatibility tab
- Enable “Run this program in compatibility mode” and ensure that Windows 8 is selected.
- Press Apply and then OK
